Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, also called Ashanti, was born on October 13 on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She's a performer and an actress of the United States. Ashanti began her career when she was a teenager and was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. The same year, she was featured in Fat Joe's What's Luv? The singer also featured on the Fat Joe's hit song"What's Luv!" as well as the Ja Rules track Always In Time Both of them were huge hits. The first ever female to be atop the Billboard Hot 100's highest two spots across the United States, with Foolish first and What's Luv? The track What's Luv! Hey Baby, After the Club (released via radio as well as digital format) was released on October 16 in 2008. She has acted in the movies Christmas in the City as well as Army Wives. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch to accompany his track Baby on the 10th of March 2022.
